Design Process

Step 1

Let’s get started

The first part of the design process is to gain an understanding of the project, we can talk on the phone or meet in person. Following the meeting, you’ll be presented with a comprehensive quote with all the details we’ve discussed.

Step 2

Book me in

Upon approval of the quote, you will be sent an invoice for the first stage of the project, once this has been paid I’ll book in a start date and provide you with a list of material I need from you.

Step 3


I like to get to know you and your vision. I’ll send you a simple online questionnaire about your objectives, key messages, target audiences and competition. This will ensure that we’re on the same page before we get started.

Step 4


This is where the fun begins. With our objectives in hand, I move to the drawing board. This is where the concepts take shape. Dependent on your budget I’ll be working on one or two separate design concepts, sifting and refining ideas until I find the best possible solution.

Step 5


Your concepts will be presented in PDF format either in person or via email, I’ll walk you through the design rationale, communicating who you are and why you do what you do. Once the initial design is approved, we’ll work through two rounds of refinement if required.

Step 6

Launch and Delivery

After the project is complete we discuss the end product and establish a plan for future enhancements and projects. I’ll package and send any files for safekeeping and future use.
